Create safety before strategy.
Psychological safety is not a perk. It is a performance requirement. Teams that feel safe speak up, catch problems earlier, and learn faster. I will open my next meeting with, “What concern might we be overlooking?” and capture the answers in writing.

A solo HR pro supporting 400+ employees asked for survival advice after leadership delayed hiring help. That is a warning sign in any organization. Workload limits are real. Burnout is predictable when ownership is fuzzy. I am reviewing load and clarifying owners before burnout does the talking.
