Investment: $197 per user, purchased through BETTER.
The Playbook provides the structured learning source used throughout coaching.
Monthly Coaching with Shawn Collins
Investment: $350 per month.
The plan includes:
- One private Zoom coaching session each month.
- Application of the Coach Culture Playbook to current team and leadership pressure.
- One written next action after each session.
- First-availability access to Shawn’s next appropriate calendar opening when a live issue cannot reasonably wait for the next scheduled session.
- A 30, 60, and 90 day usefulness review.

First-availability access means you may request the next appropriate opening on Shawn’s calendar when a live issue cannot reasonably wait.
It does not mean:
- Unlimited sessions.
- Immediate access.
- Emergency or crisis response.
- Unlimited text or email coaching.
- Guaranteed same-day availability.
Additional sessions, urgent requests, and services for other staff members must follow the approved fee and scheduling rules.
Why the Combination Works
A playbook can create common language and a repeatable structure.
Private coaching helps you decide what to use, with whom, and when. It creates a place to test your thinking before the conversation becomes public inside the team.
The goal is not to make every decision easy. It is to help you make the next responsible decision with greater clarity.
When the Issue is Bigger than One Coach
Some needs belong in a separate team or program engagement.
Shawn may recommend a team conversation when the issue requires:
- Athlete access to The Game Within.
- A team-specific Mental Performance Index.
- A program dashboard.
- Recurring team sessions.
- Parent or staff sessions.
- Department-wide work.
- Private athlete coaching.
Those services are scoped and priced separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the $197 Playbook included in the $350 monthly fee?
No. The Playbook is a separate required purchase through BETTER. The $350 monthly fee covers private coaching with Shawn.
Does the plan cover my assistants?
The base plan covers one named coach. Assistant coaches need separate access or a separately scoped staff engagement.
How long is the coaching commitment?
The initial term remains a release decision. The recommended standard is three months followed by month-to-month continuation.
Can I use first-availability access every week?
It is intended for occasional live leadership pressure. It is not a substitute for a higher-frequency coaching plan or unlimited access.
Can Shawn work directly with my athletes?
Yes, through The Game Within athlete coaching or a team mental performance engagement. Those are separate services with their own enrollment, consent, privacy, and pricing.
Is this only for head coaches?
No. Head coaches and assistant coaches may participate, provided the coaching relationship and role boundaries are clear.
